Foxin winning Award Model Family for Insanity
LIN FAMILY! Awarded for the Model Family of all season (Because their youngest son said so) :) AhHhh... Sweet! The intensive coverage of the Karen Missions had finally concluded. Now.. Back to the basic. Well... As you see there's pretty much to say about the period between 20th till 28th actually... but I guess I'll just stick to the plain old lazy me :) Ok... Some random thoughts. I thought that you guys was suppose to know that I'll be flying off (What?! AGAIN!!) soon to Korea (Yaya.. Don't envy me) for a conference cum Mission. (And once again... HOLY) Thought of a spoof... You know~ God will equip you even before He will use you right? That is what the bible had told us... Ok.. here's the spoof... The mission is called the "Beggar's mission" and that the group will be literally strip of everything (clothes on of course) and to trust God for accommodations and lodging. And guess what? Being a fresh grad; meaning "Un-employed", I am already a beggar before I fly over to paticipate in the mission! How nice of a equipping man! What a way to equip too! Praise God! So in that sense I could understand the need of these people and also get into the role faster when I am there. SHIOK! Ok... Don't wack me cause I can't tell good jokes. Well... I must say that being on mission is really something very privilege and honourable to do... why? Cause God works along side with you and what's best is that you experience things that you will never be able to by just reading your bible and pray everyday.. Walk the talk!! Yea! Of course! It's not easy as it is rather faith stretching and sometimes you might need to compromise on certain things in order to get the full deal of it. Just to let you guys in into something.. Though I might sound like some very experience person.. For the last mission trip (Philippines; Church mission'06).. I sign up merely because I wanted to sit in an aeroplane. **Silence for a while** Please don't stone me! Cause that is seriously ridiculous when I start to think about it again... And I pray that God have mercy on me! But nevertheless.. I'm glad my mindset change in a very positive way (hopefully!) and it's no longer a "man! I wanna sit on a plane" or "LEVI's!! CHIONG AHRRR!!!!" kinda attitude. Well... It is truly madness when I tried telling my parents that I will be flying off soon after I got back from Thai and it was quite a difficult time making clear what all these commotions are about and what is happening to their son. firstly... They thought I will be going to Thai THEN to Korea Their concern: Delirium! Flying up than across the continent Than... They thought I will be flying off.. back by 19th than transits straight to Korea Their concern: Why so redundant? Just fly off from Thai!!! Than... They thought I'm going to some weird country by the name of "Ko-Thai" Their concern: Bring me some tranquilizer for my son please! Finally... They thought I will be in Singapore for 10 days then off I go Their concern: Great! More time with each other and lesser rice to cook! But thinking back right now.. I can't imagine what a hilarious family I was born into.. Although very much into the Asian culture where the dad is always the Al-mighty, hard to reach and hot to touch kind of person, my dad do crack jokes on me and makes me wonder if he is really my dad. My mummy on the other hand is the "influence" than the quiet-natured woman and always sewing (thats my impression of mothers.. sewing and more sewing). Why? She will ask me "Ah **** ahr.. why no GF??!!" when I was 17. "Ah **** ahr.. Got go out ga-la-bing(clubbing) not?" when I just turned 20. Ever since she stop whacking me with a cane... I thought she pick up something else to do to replace those wacking days... Sarcastism on me. Thanks mum! Love ya! Other than that... Sleep! Mummy! Yeap! Thought I follow after my dad very much... Crazy @ times for no reason.. calm.. lazy (Oh yes!).. Highly trained on patience.. slow.. intelligent (I think my dad is more.. cunning).. hmm.. ___________ fill in the blank next time. This man is called Simon too! But something runs in the guys of my family... especially true. We! The man of the Lin/ Soo Clan are all VERY slow to anger and FAST & EXTREMELY FURIOUS when we blows. Oh yes! When the man of my family blows their top... Never ending man! Locomotive gone hay-wired.. picture that. Other than that.. we're just like sheep.. :) la la la... Presenting~ Shawn and Wife; Ting Oh! My elder brother! Shackles~ He is a breed of a kind... And of course.. He added one more member into the clan @ 25th Dec 06 where he tied the knot with a fine lady :) (bore me my niece/ nephew!!!!) ahhh heemmm... anyway.. yea! My brother A.K.A Shawn is the other side of the coin as compared to me. TOTALLY DIFFERENT! He seldom speaks.. Highly intellectual.. game all the time.. much of the time into his own world. (I wonder... where the wife comes from?) But when he speaks.. I seriously feel like dying! Cause he speaks words that form a kind of disruptive wave to your train of thoughts... NO LINK!!!! Totally good weapon when he is to be a secret agent.. drive the interrogator totally insane for sure! PROMISE! hmmm... why am I talking about all these anyway? Some kind of old school "My family" essay?Nah.. I lose track. Yeap! Anyway... main point. I'm flying off on the 29th on KE642 @ T1 on 1125. Will be there by 2030 hours. So.. yea! Pray for me and my crazy family (I love them.. thought we seldom speaks) my work there and the exchange of delegates from all over the World. Yak-herh! Finished.. Stay tune :) |

Part 5
The final cut The final moment Gosh! I'm like so lazy right now and that I can't even push myself for the final part! Oh yea! Expect more from this final part yea!! Right.. Where was I..... For now, I guess you guys will expect how to drill will be like and I'll shall not dwell on it anymore :) The main highlight for the final night was actually the final ministry night and also the final dose of the Father's Heart Really. A rally being to raise, challenge and lead people on, that night didn't just inspire me.. or rather the Karen Youth... But the whole hall. I would even dare to say even the lizards and gang were even ministered! (Yes! I think I'm nuts.. what ever!) And the Spirit of God is @ all time high when everyone literally open up their hearts and listen to what the Spirit have to say. That moment 3 things came across my mind: 1) Our first love. That moment I was once again reminded @ the exact spot when I decided to let go of my life in this World and really stand up and make a difference along side with Christ. Not that moment I receive Christ but when I am still a Christian yet empty inside me. 2) Our decision for that work "He first love us" Yes! The very main reason why we are at work... His love for us first and above all else. I don't care you understand or not... but seems in-comprehensible to you and even myself @ this moment, but when God touches you.. you will understand. Beyond any words and feelings. Faith yo! 3) "Set us free!" Appealing to God's mercy and forgiveness as a whole for everyone in the World. Christian or not... Atheist or whatever.. God to even break the toughest ground and yield the finest crops. What I believe that it's not about those people who have yet to receive Jesus.. but those who receive Christ and still choose to stray afar. My heart goes out to them and I believe my brothers and sisters there were too. Sacred Moment In reverence and in awe... many of us bowed down and really start praying for forgiveness on ourselves and also for God's anointing touch to be on these "harassed" people... people who lose out so much. I still could remember images of people kneeling and crying out to God.. all tears and passionate for His people and God. I was deeply touched and ministered too. "Set them free" I think we were ministered more than those on the floor (Karen youth) and I could help but be still before God. Nothing but praying and praying.. sobbing and sobbing.. Straight after that... 4 of the youths were sitting on the bench and I felt I need to talk to them. So I did and I was so glad that out of the 4.. 2 received Christ! They make that decision and I believe that they are convinced by His love. 2 was already Christian and I thought I'll pray for them too.. and guess what! They wanted to re-dedicate their lives and was asking me how to do it. I felt so honoured! I meant.. I don't take credits as for that.. But I'm glad God uses me in that sense. Than I can't help but notice another 3 @ the back... So I walk over and did the same. 3 were Christians and they have a need for prayer for their family and life after studies. I name them "Tom".. "Dick" and "Henry" (ok.. I know I'm shallow and "what a name!"). I couldn't help but be in awe again as 2 of them was to graduate this year and was seeking something after that. I thought God has place me there as I'm a fresh grad too! I could share that common understanding and advice them! Not just that.. I'm being ministered too again! Praise God! And I've committed myself to pray for the 3 of them (of course.. much more) every night to allow them to be guided by God. Wow! But the sad fact still remains soon after that final night... everyone sat down in a circle and shared their fair share of experience.. hopes.. comments.. lots man! Thanks all for sharing.. deeply respect! Weiyi... Sam Q.. Anand.. Garry.. Ryan.. Dani.. Ivan.. you've affirmed me in your sharing of your life story! RESPECT! What a night... DO NOT TRY THIS @ HOME... But in a village :P Following morning we went to the chapel and had a communion service. The style is difference for sure.. Not really into the idea of a common cup.. but anyway.. I've got through that. Much respect for the service as it is rather traditional and was easier to get through than I thought! More loadings and debrief... toured a lil' around the town... went to the border... had some fun checking out Christ stone's (now I think I got it right) studio @ the backyard. AWESOME! KORN!!! Hearts still heavy.. but well~ nothing can be done unless some insane people were to get their passport lost. :P NINEMENZEAL! :) but "Smiley" you shall shall be! The bidding of farewell was kinda rush (Don't know is it plan to be like that) but it did serve quite a good way to kill off any un-necessary emotions and shedding of tears. Emotional level = HIGH! Every one's kind of "tired" and "void" on their looks. Soon the convoys exit the gate... and off~ (MAN! I seriously hate this!) No string attached! Mother's Union Squatter-like living condition Bye! (Thanks Joanne for the idea) |

Part 4 (Day 3)
Following up on Noh Bo Academy Here's the installment of part 4 of a 5 part series! Wack-me-not; Yak-herh Straight after the first day with the Noh Bo Academy student, no doubt some of us were pretty upset a little as the response was not pretty good... adding on to that Pastor Tang also change back to the original planned devotion time slot; which is on the morning again. LESSER SLEEP! Nevertheless.. The spirit of the mission troopers were still on high! Because what we set out was to bless and see lives touched! As usual, the youth over there get on with their procedures and soon enough lessons on the "walk-through" was once again proceed starting from the story of Moses till the wondering of the Israelites spies. Much game was played and the hype of the teaching just got even better! The youth was so much more in engaged this time round and they were jumping with joy when praise and worship kicks in! What's more they also did the hand signs diligently and with much anticipation! Praise the Lord! Soon it came to an end and than lunch and so on (Gosh~ I feel so lazy to type out the lunch, but lunch was still amazing as ever!). Than followed by the noon session where the story continues from "Mosses death" to part of "Judges". The noon game was one of the highlight as we made the youth lineup in one row against each other, rack them from a distant and made them catch one another. Very much as the principal of a Christian setting out to do spiritual multiplications. As the "captor" increased, the easier the capturing proceed. It was pretty good in a sense as it really wear out every single one of us and also some of the youth there (I guess). But one sad thing we realised is that.. The game was too physical and the ladies were not very keen to play. So I reckon it was quite a disappointment when we overlook that fact :( OK~ Spirit up again!!! The night really kicks up once more when the skit was being played about a girl with a heart, how she got hurt times and times again (Lead: wanting) and how God sent Jesus to gave us a bigger and better heart! Garry and Wanting than gave their testimony about how God; as a Father have touched and change their lives. But that wasn't the peak yet (I must agree the testimonies were very encouraging), soon after Daniel shared about the misconceptions of who God is... The music.. worship and spirit just descend on us when the time to open for ministry starts. This time round... I realised that the ambiance was very heavy... Some how I sense that many hurts were being lifted up onto God and many hidden secret have soon been brought on to the surface of our heart... I couldn't help but realised that Anand; standing right beside me was being ministered by the Spirit and somehow I sensed that there is a need to be there for him, comfort, pray and support him. So I gave him a hug and asked if I could pray for him. Soon after... I could felt many things that brother Anand was struggling with, the desire for God, hindarance and strongholds in his life. As I pray... I felt God is ministering to me too as I realised how much I was being blinded by my own desire on this World and how I wanted to acheive things my way. That moment I felt more ministered by the Spirit than I could imagine the youth @ Noh bo could receive. This time round I could see a handful of Noh Bo youth staying back to be pray for and more hands lifted high to exalt God. For a while... This carried on and my heart just felt burdened... burdened by the fact that these people were refugees... some were abandoned.. some had parents but couldn't be united.. some had personal struggles with life after studies... much concern were lifted into our mission trooper's hand to pray for. But one thing that rule over all else.. and cut above us city kids... They were still as happy amidst these troubles. That same question when I was first open to Christianity; "Where these people were so happy?". After a debrief and some sharing... I was struck dumb that moment when I step out onto the chilling field and look up. The wonder of God's creation... Shadowy figured mountain on the back and star filled sky. The third time I see so much stars in my life... Simply breath-taking. Stripped of high rise building... Latest technology.. bright and noisy surrounding... The view was awesome! Peaceful.. quiet.. still.. So conducive to be mesmerized by God's fingerprint on this World physically. God's Hand on this troubled World... |

Part 3 (Day 2)
First morning @ Noh Bo Academy The arrival of the convoys were around 11pm late @ night and it was drizzling while we found human chain on the muddy ground and pass our heavy bags to the "Mother's Union" and than settle down with some briefing and some contribution of mosquito net from the local. The first morning was pretty refreshing as that night it was pouring very heavily, and I was afraid that it will hit a hole on the zinc roof that shelter us. Apparently it's fine! Thank God! So we woke up at around 8am (9am in Singapore) and started to have a spread on the breakfast. The thing about it was that.. every meal consist of rice, and that makes me confuse that the meal I'm going to have.. was it breakfast?... uhh.. lunch? No no!! dinner?! Supper? Haha. Nevertheless.. it was fried rice and eggs! Tasty vilage food. I've always like village food as it is alwasy the most original.. most fresh and best in quality. (Cook right on the spot) We headed down to the long house where the classrooms are suppose to be and carrys a sense of desire to meet these 180 so called youth of Noh Bo acedemy. When I arrive there.. I was literally rooted to the ground when strait of tanned skinned people walked in. What to do?! I wasn't ready for this yet!! So Joanne and myself sort of decided to walk over to a table full with girls and make ourselves fimiliar to them.. But avail! Other than pronouncing our names, they seems to be lose when we talk to them. GOSH! But nevertheless we still manage to like get to make them smile. (to warm things up alittle I guess) Basically we just prepare ourselves there by like staring @ each otehr for a while before they went to their morning assembly and sung the national song and say their pledge. Seems very much like in Singapore. Than after that.. When they step into the classroom.. Immediatly they stood up and sung another song. At first I thought that was some welcome song for us.. But I later figure out (after a few morning sessions) that it was actually their school song. So conincidental! I'm suppose to lead the last few which is the story of abraham, unknowingly I overstep into the teaching part of my other teammate! GOSH! And I was like so into it teaching that I didn't even realise that what I've taught was more than I've prepared! We started out a series of hand signs with praise/ worship and it was seriously good! It works out so well that the whole hall was literally shaking and stomping as those youth and ourselves were drench in sweat and jumping away! The spirit is like so high!!!!! NICE! Praise the Lord. Than my testimony with the accompanying of a interpreter (Christone --> Hope I spelled that right) and I thought I had quite a struggle connecting my thoughts time after time with pause and making my words simpler. A time of round-up follows as Ps Tang was sharing on Lazerus and the Rich man that we need to always be prepare to serve, understand the need and also seeing the need. For what is lost here this moment will never be brought back again. Treasure the time and chances you have here and siezing eery opportunities from God to make it worth while in this race on Earth. More of flies swapping b4 we turn in to sleep. Guess what.. It rains again! And it was so timely... Praise God! |

This is my 150th post! Sweet
Part2 (Day 1) After a 2 plus hour flight, we reach bangkok Suvarnabhumi Int' airport @ 8.30am. What amazes me was that the airport was pretty cool and huge! Just like that news said, this airport is suppose to be the largest and best in the World as to compete with Singapore's Changi Airport. There this one incident during the check-out of the custom while we need to get the visa and entry stamp on our passport, I was actually being stop by the desk officer as she bombard me with tons of questions. I was literally like.. "what the! I'm here on a holiday man!" and she was like wanting to sound out every single particular details out of me before letting me go. Sounds creepy... And she took a picture of me (And that freak me out for the whole trip) as if I was going to be on observations or something. Straight after that were some series of stopping @ petrol kiosk for some breaks to rest our butt (by standing of course) and to catch some food in between. But I really thank God for that wonderful spacious van that has limitless headroom and leg room. The seats were great too! Chilling leather.. YA YA! It's like a mini theater too! Convoy One (my grouping) has the best things in it la! Apart from the seats problem.. we have a mini compo with nice sound system.. a LCD samsung TV and tons of nice movie on DVD. Cool! Whats cool what that the convoy I'm in was the only van that can play DVD.. and the movie are mostly in English! The other convoy didn't enjoy such benefits. Haha. The 12 hour van ride was really no kidding and what we can only do was to really slp.. watch and slp again.... Kinda boring here. the final stop was at mea sot, very much near the border between Myanmar and Thai. And we actually caught a glimpse of the "friendly bridge" that bridge Thai to Myanmar. And we had great food! Oh.. Did I mention one of my convoy mate was the "fiance minister" (Treasurer) and that was seriously some benefits. I think we order like main course for ourselves (around 90 baht each) and than a pizza large... 2 con don (Some beef with Mozelle cheese stuff between it.. supremely nice!!!!) and a few fruit mix. And it all cost overall for everyone (the whole team) barely 2000 baht. But of course.. that was the "last dinner" b4 we hand over ourselves to cheap food and poor living environment. But overall the spirit is still high!!!! Catch part 3!!!! :) |

- Wednesday, June 20, 2007 @ 2:51:00 PM
Yea! Part 1 (Pre-Mission) of the journey on my mission. Now as I recall that very night after the last mission training (11th June), I was home playing on the computer with some "sacho"s, gaming away. And we sort of decided to like stay up all night and than go to the airport as the last bus is on 11.15pm and we need to reach there by 4.45am.
That night I was praying to God and also sort of think through what I wanted to achieve through this mission. And I was very assured that this missiion will not be of waste as I believe that God's work is more than just being there to touch lives.. but change them too! So around 11.30pm I left my house to head down to the bus stop to catch the last bus to the airport. But strangly I waited like for 45 minutes, not a singe bus was in sight. I was like panicking as I told one of my "sacho" to meet in T1 @ around 12am. 12.35... Still no bus! Than I called wanting and lucky she wasn't out yet as her daddy was driving her there. So I thought it would be nice to catch a ride ^^ The best thing is that... I was suppose to meet my "sacho" in T1 and I thought I smsed him to meet @ T2.. So he did sms me back something but I was on the phone as some of the supporters were already there @ T2 mac waiting for us. (They were there @ around 10 plus.. Thank you so much Ying hui, Grace and Jerome) Poor "sacho" (Aric) have to walk from T1 to T2 as there wasn't any sky train service and I think he's pretty angry. LOL! Had really a good time taking photos on my friend's lappy (Built-in cam) making funny faces.. Laughing at each other.. chatting loudly althought there were people sleeping and studying there and also much much more. The fellowship was simply great!!! And we did share some inspiring encounters on our individual trips. Soon enough.. the clock struck 3.50am and it signals we have to walk over to T1 as I was suppose to check in there (Don't ask me why I chose not to hang out @ T1 instead). Rather stupid me.. We lose our way as we travel and Changi Airport had never been so huge to me till that night. While we walk we sort of talk loudly.. laugh like some wild animal and making ourselves kings and queens of the road as we walk in the middle of the lane as there wasn't any bus or anything around. Finally we made it and it was just about time when we reach there... Soon the anxiety sets down as the excitment of mission just kicked in. With so much people I don't really click with and so much people whom I had never been chatting with, will soon become one as a group ministering to the Karen community. Many faces appears.. many were tired.. many were excited.. some even drag on the "oh well.. here goes nothing" feeling; though that didn't show on their faces but.. yea! Prayer was being said and the final briefing. Still remember my youth pastor (in his T-shirt "Action is lounder then words" and a berms.. kinda slack) saying something about the harvest and that being commissioned to be a blessing is more than just what God have given us. He bless us first! And it's gonna be an eye opener. (Paraphrased as I forgot where he quote from the Bible) Boarding proceed @ 5am... carrying the hopes from many people back in Singapore, wishes, God's promise that we need to held on to, heavy hearts, heavy bags (duh!) and blessings.. (Of course with money and all neccessities too) we step on this journey to a much challenging environment.. committing ourselves to blessing others without any comfort zone to ponder upon. :) |

I'M BACK~
THANK YOU ALL WHOM SUPORTED ME AND IN WHICH EVER WAY! THANK YOU! Really thank you all for being there one way or another and yea! I'm back!! Stepping on Singapore ground once again and hopefully changed. But one thing for sure is that.. I'm very deeply touched! As always.. "Life for us in Singapore is really very fortunate." I couldn't express more in words or even actions, you really need to experience it all.. And that takes faith and trust. Would like to dedicate this entry to: (Not in ranking of importance) 1. God. In His Glorious Name and Mighty Power. I'm so in awe! 2. Youth Mission '07 Team. (You guys are the best of the best of the best) 3. All Xxon "Sacho" for YCCA (You guys were the best) 4. All members of YCCA who contributed and made it possible 5. Supporting member in prayer and various other ways 6. Practically anyone :) This trip was really a slap in my face.. literally as I always hold high regard to Crusade's mission and look down on Chirch mission. I mean.. I thought that chuch mission is alwasy very much like going over there to play for a performance or something and than leave.. What's most important is to like take the flight for experience sake.. play some music for ppl to admire on.. look cool cause we're from other country or something like that. But God made me see 3 things. 1. His mission work is far more than I could understand and I seriously overrun and distort it myself. 2. Life work in the community 3. Life work in everyone of us on the team It's a splendid blend of people. Though we are not from the best... But God made us come together as "perfect". I chose the word "perfect" to describe it as many were first time mission tripper, with much doubts and no desire for the trip. These "sand" were soon mixed.. refine.. change and form a wonderful piece of work by God's hands. It's simply awesom.. marvellous and out of this World. The place we stayed were really a challenge and was totally out of our comfort zone. Thank God for the van that is big enough for 12 peoples and easily 20 laguages on it. And we have room from everyone :) The place we stayed was somehow like a house built on slit.. very "kampong-ish" and I call it.. rural. Very much like what you see in your social studies textbook that explain "squatter settlement". Bugs infested nights.. warm wet noon with high humidity.. warm night.. cold water every night and poor walking track The session with the community were breath-taking as each night's rally was filled with The Spirit to the brim. Ministering to people is a whole lot different and how God could make me.. such a small fray to touch the heart of people. Not me.. Seriously! Not my talent.. But God given opportunity. Everything compliment wach other so well as it rains every night when we are ready to sleep. We were bless with unlimited water to bath atleast 4 times a day. Generous people who provide us 3 meals a day with lots of rice and meat when they just took 2 very simple and small meal a day. The people were very eager to participate even they don't understand us half the time, happy and passionatly warm heart people who always make us feel home and great surroundings. And of course... Great teammates whom made all that possible. Of course.. We had many many fun encounters that could really express it all out and yea! This trip is truly one memoriable one (everyone trip to me are sound memories) and do hope that the changes in me will remain the same! More to come!!! Stay tune!! |

Mission
Karen Community (Thailand) 13th June 2007 to 19th June 2007 Hey hey! I will be away from 13th to 19th for a church mission to Thailand; Karen Community. Generally what was going to happen there is that we will be teaching the people a series we called it "Run through the bible". Basically we will have hand signs accompanied with some games to stir up the crowd a little and to allow them to memorize the bible using hand signs that highlights the essential points of the bible. This time round we are focusing on the old testament. Of course.. Some games in between the resting hours and also some sing-along-session with the community there. And the highlight of the whole trip.. The Father's Heart Rally where we will have people sharing testimony and also a series of sharing on Our Lord Father in Heaven. The first 12 hours will be spend on travelling (Gosh!). But the experience after the travelling... MARVELLOUS! SUPERED! NICE! Well.. SAF COMMISSIONING PARADE FOR 65/06 OCS
Following are some pixs from the commissioning parade @ SAFTI Training Institute on 9th June 2007. OCS 65/06 OCS (Left) 57th Midshipman(center) and 24th Aerodrome(Right) The parade form up soon on the 41st minute of 5pm yesterday and it is really a treat as you see rows and rows of boys and ladies marching in by the accompanying of the SAF Band. It is really a view and I was out with my friend; Charlton's parents to withness the comissioning of officers from Navy, Air Force and Army. Can't really tell the difference of these people apart from Navy; which is in full white, these band of brothers and sisters were turn into suave, dashing and charming fields of whites with much gasto. It is really a hornour to be there under the invitation of my friend and that seriously leave some memories and desire to be an officer. A glimsp of Charlton (Commando Contigent) Full pledged and commissioned Lta Charlton Ng After a series of pledge taking, songs and presentation, the immediate family members and friends are than invited to pin the new rank onto the newly commissioned officers and this moment is really a very proud one for parents as theit have the hornour to pin the new rank unto their sons and daughters; a sign of prestigious change and responsibilities. It soon end of with the "graduation" style as the newly commissioned officers throw their cap high up into the air in celebrations! I'm very inspired now!!!! Nevertheless, the 28 weeks of physical and mental training is not something less to handle and that the resposibilities for these brothers and sisters went one step higher as they are being commissioned. Congrats to the new officers of SAF and may you guys strive!! :) |

TGIF
** First of all.. I must express a sorry! to the TPCCC folks as they invited me to Sentosa.. BUT I CAN'T GO!!! :( I thought I had really miss out alot of fun with you guys... Oh well... We'll go somewhere else some other day ok? pls pls.. atleast once more before I go into the army :) Ok.. Back on Heard of this theme that is being used on a broadcast on a radio earlier on while I was in ABC mart buying some softdrink. (It really was called ABC mart.. No kidding!) TGIF = Thank Goodness it's Friday And the DJ was saying that "Why wasn't it TFIT as to be more optimisstic?" **Thank Goodness it's today for your info :) Anyway... Great cell outing today as all sixteen odd people head down to The Prata House @ Upper Thompson Road. What a treat! Though I o not have pixs here.. but I must really encourage people to really go to that place for once. The prata is awesome.. crispy on the outside and so yummy inside out. The first bite of that plain prata gives me the feeling that the owner uses another kind of batter, not those regular one you will find in a typical indian stall. Overall.. 4 stars! After that, all the dudes and babes walk a little further down to a dessert shop called "Icekimo" I hope I spelled that right. It is a shop very famous for it's ice-cream and that the concept was very cute (The logo is much like a neopet licking off an ice-cream cone).. Pinkish setting and the furnitures were new age too! What best is that such a big crowd of 16.. The shop have not that much space to house us.. and we have to settle with 7 tables line side by side and sit on the outside. Thank God the neighbouring shop were close as we were like sitting right infront of their entrance. Althought I couldn't really like talk to everyone there and spend precious quality time with them... But I do hope everyone enjoy this outing as we dine and make nosie together. CHEERS! :) |

RP SM RETREAT (Pt 1) Wohoo! Realise that it had been somewhat like nearing a week which I last updated my blog and that it seriously bad! Much apologies to those who had been faithfully supporting this blog. Hehe! Special shout out to Kangcore from Sonic Edge Band for visiting this blog and expressing such kind words from the invitation to the primere of the SonicEdge new album launch. Really amaze by how you get to know of this blog. ^^, Special shout out also to Joelle, ben, chinny and anand/ ryan.. You guys rock and thanks you so much for making time to read this blog. Will promise to update often yea?! Right... About the SM retreat that I went to that lasted through last Monday (3rd June) to Tues (4th June) and about some planning stuff that we had for the RP ministry @ Pine Grove Condo. But before we get down to serious business on the plannings and hectic brain storming... The gang decided to chill out @ Sentosa! Great! And I tried 2 new things in Sentosa itself! Before that, heres some pix that I took and was really amazing how much Sentosa had changed. The Folk that made this retreat possible starting from Irene (Most Left) to Jacob (Middle) and me!(Although I didn't make it all happen) on my first ever chairlift experience! The Second batch of folks.. Looks kinda far but that to show how high that thing went! Gosh! Yeap! Great experience as I went through the Luge ride + Chairlift and also the spectacular display of water + fire + laser effects from the "Songs of the Sea". But I must say that the storyline is very much similar to of those in the musical fountain that is free (that show cost $6) and the flow of it was kind of lame and bad... But nevertheless when the firework and laser start coming in... You will forget about the storyline and immerse yourself in the sea of midst.. effects and display of fire and firework. NICE! I love the part towards the end when there is this tall highly-pressurized charge water blast that was accompanied by the spiral laser effect! It seems like a dragon going round that single blast of water and it was totally awesome! The luge ride was great also as we charge down the hillside and making turns that is fast and furious. I could almost imagine myself being in some of the scene of "Intial D" and I literally drift ok?! I drifted and swirl through some of the sharpe turns and I guess the management will be so angry when they find strips of marking on the track... oh well.. do they care :P Great experience accompanied by fun and eccentric people plus great place... totally speechless and really out of words to describe everything... experience it for yourself. "Once is never enough" - Luge ride's tagline. The best part of which is not just yet... It was after dinner @ vivo.. We took the wrong side track to the busstop as I thought that we were to take the MRT.. and we took one detour. After that.. we reach the floor level and find ourself on the other direction which we should exit @ vivo but we exit at the Seah Imm foodcenter side. 2 detours. Than we hop on the bus to head back to the retreat place... I noticed the sign that says "Pine Gv Cond" on the bus as it indicate the next location. I stood up to find myself by myself and that the door of the bus is closing real soon.. but everyone is still seated! And to find ourself getting off 1 stop after. And that is a very long stop... 3 detours. Haha.. We reach the place dead and decided to watch the TV after a round of sharing.. And to my disappointment, the TV only have Channel 8 and Suria. And on channel 8 was this vampire show.. Which is totally of no link! No link throughout the whole episode as it flashes from the actor giving comment this sec and than fighting the next sec. Funny~ But it was still fun any way.. Yeap! Catch the next part some day ;) |

Stay tune!! |
