A quick random thought...
Supposing you're doing an advertisement on a World's best camera that involves a picture or two into it. And you want to achieve the maximum quality of it since good picture of it portrays and attracts the consumer's attention. So logically you would use the "best" camera to achieve such effect. SO! How is it that the product (assuming it is really the best) that was suppose to be in the advertisement be of the best if you would use the very same camera that was suppose to be advertised? Irony?! **Ps. Photoshop or other picture enhancement program ruled out. :)

Congratz on all "O" lvl-ers for the release of result! (Ok.. I know I'm kinda slow)... but you can't blame a person for having 6 days deprived from his week to be fast right? Ha!

foxin.blogspot was advertised!!! - Sunday, January 20, 2008 @ 10:23:00 PM
WOW! It's definitely nice to be listed somewhere else on the website and it did gave me a great surprise when it I come to know of it! Ok... Though I might fake on the previous photo on the "Standard Chartered Run'08" but this is for real man! Sweet! Reminded me of the review that I wrote on Sonic edge's album launch bash and they visit foxin.blogspot.com shortly! I wonder how they manage to get me. Moving along... 27th ERS (Emergency Response Specialist) course is not easy task and I'm glad that many fellow mate had moved on from SCT (Specialist Cadet Trainee) to SSCT (Senior) W.E.F 15th Jan. Way ago! 3 mote months to sect com appointment! And of course the 48th Basic officer course... Sure is one though period for all the officer trainee. Just by looking at one of the feat we have to perform.. Bound to shit in your pants! And that height of six storey is no joke ok?! Now you know how much risk was involve in rescuing people right? OH! Did I mention that this was only one small practicing without donning on the additional equipments? *** Looking @ my schedule for Jan/Feb... Its not helping in anyway for me to get a breather and think positive about the things that was going on in camp. in additional to the reservist personnel whom were such pain during their one week stay. Can you believe?! For the month of Jan, I could only make do with ONE service opportunity and ZERO cell meeting. Sad! sad! sad! And guess what my senior told me. "Simon~ If everyone is as religious as you. Then these 2 years wouldn't be called 'NS' already." He also added "Why not just take it as you're on a long (x192381946102) break from it and focus on serving your duty." Easier said than done! HOW DO I SIMPLY PUT DOWN CHURCH?! So I just replied... "So you leave your brain at home once in a while la?" Smart tactical move theoretically.... Worse move practically.... for that I serve 3 extra. And I thought it was suppose to be in 'friendly' tone, so I thought I'll try my luck on reasoning... Oh man~ Morale of the story... there's not such thing as "by right" only.. DRY GIN - Wednesday, January 16, 2008 @ 10:37:00 AM
Time again for a wonderful adventure of SIMON-E the SIM! (ok.. random!) Was RUSHING to SSDC for my final theory trial test and I boarded the bus #853. Upon sitting down @ the back row, I couldn't help but notice "Call XXX XXX - XXXperson Free Sex and Blow Drop" (Vandalism as always) Ok.. Discreet needed! BUT THEN! It's at least not "drop" but *^#&%! (you know what I mean) Ya man! And the actual basis of that is bad of course... But... You ought to at least keep to some standard if you want to be bad right?! Oh man.. NOT just that. Upon walking out of SSDC (Why is it always "SSDC"?) I saw this bus by the side lane; blocking a the traffic for quite a while, from a far. The signage by the windscreen wrote "Straightly for Hock Heng cafe customer only". Straight indeed... >>>> Perhaps I; myself couldn't even match up to the English standard... So better not laugh at other people! Oh well.. days are pretty mundane as my off clashes with everyone else ALWAYS! What?! I'm suppose to be a cut from the others when I enter NS? "it's not good for man to be alone." - Genesis 3:18 And even GOD could recognise that fact, why not the authority?! HEY! I'm DEPRIVED SPIRITUALLY MAN! I NEED CHURCH!!!! (I must be out of my mind.. coz I'm not IN) Right.. chill~ Looking at my working schedule, it's not helping me a bit in recovering from this spiritually craving! I'm being kept from going to church for like.. Majority part of all months?! BUT! God is faithful... (Indeed.. AMEN) Daniel loan me this book that talks about God's ultimate plan in the analogy of weaving a grand sari of North India. The introduction has already brought me much insight... and also shame; from the result of constant ranting to God about my "deprived" life now. And I would like to end off with this story (Sounds like a sermon now...) The Golden Windows (A spoof from "A Golden Compass"?) Haha... A little boy would look across the spawling meadow outside his house every morning and see in the distant a house with golden windows. He would stare and revel in the radiant beams streaming from far away. He asked his father one day if they could visit the house with the golden windows. The father obliged, and they started to walk. They walk till they reach the house. The yound lad stood perplexed. He saw no windows of gold. But a little girl inside saw them staring at her home and came out to ask if she could be of help. "Yes," replied the boy, "I wanted to see the house with the golden windows that I see every morning." "Oh, you've come to the wrong place," she quickly said. "if you wait here a little while until the sunset, I will show you the house with the golden windows that I see every evening." She then pointed to a house in the distant - the home of the little boy. >>> Sweet~

He came... He saw... He conquer... He went... I'm no mountaineer myself but this whom was called at that time a "crazy-out-of-the-World" kiwi pioneered the conquer of the World's tallest mountain. He even got to be the first New Zealand-er to have his image on the currency. And, the amount of good deeds as equivalent to the number of hair a person's head could ever hold. Much respect for this "kiwi" of legend. (I know this is kinda late) ****** Now now! I must say that my knowledge of the World's news are really on my finger tips. Why? Picture this. You have a desk in a small regular cubicle, and you have on that desk were 3 stacks of newspaper, 2 books for recording, a blue pen and a mug. Occasionally I would be fed with "New paper: Afternoon edition". How sweet~ TONS OF HOURS TO SPARE!!!! So with longs hours to go... What else to do? READ OF COURSE!!! HEY! I'm no fool that waste asset man! Not like as if I'm that deprived of course.. Running my fingers through those pages wouldn't do me good or neither kill the time (not even with "time-icide" if someone invent one) SO I might as well do good with reading. Not up and running for some GP like those JC kids (no offences) or being some mambo-jumbo news anchor of course! Life in camp is so vivid yea? Blasted with strings of current affairs and many "adult" issues that never cross that pinny-Winny mind of mine. (But I must correct this by saying that my "mind"; though small but I DIDN'T deny I'm stupid! :P ) *** And OH! Singapore accounts for the 6 Billion SMS-es sent out during the year of 07! TOP in the World in fact! My my.. ain't we in love with "first" for everything?! Like... First to introduce the tissue-bokking-seat system that operates on a freeloading-free basis. TSK! TSK! TSK! Do you not know that GPRS or rather "GSM" current passes through your body as in the form of "radiation"? MAN! So that means.. my body is SO constantly polluted by the infiltration of these current LAH! PROTEST!!!!! Someone should start a "global warming" for human body! Cause you never know that if it's the "radiation" that passes through your body produces that INTENSE upsurge in temperature. Might even be part of the reason why Antarctica melts. :P Or even why penguins decides to take up flying lesson... So as to match the seasons like rest of the "birds-of-the-air". Oh man... I'm out of here! |

Now you can see how much to an extent a bored man/ woman can go to...
2nd! Personality test and it came right from my cousin's blog... Trust me to do something that's so irony in the early morning... BUT! I second that reading the Bible should come FIRST! And YES! I trust the Bible more than any quiz... Why the quiz then? - Pure fun ya? :) *** You are The MagicianSkill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity. Eleoquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing, The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil. What Tarot Card are You? *** WOW! I'm flattered ! Right! Got to read the bible now! |

AIRFARE STARTS SLASHING - Monday, January 07, 2008 @ 11:08:00 PM
And you have seen it right! Airfare is taking a great dip! PPL!! PACK'N YOUR BAG AND BOOK YOUR TIXS NOW!!!!!!
Better early then nv :) *** Got into some serious training after watching "body #19" with Charlton (Crusader). OK! Now that's 2 separate issues. Lemme start with the movie first. MOVIE Movie wise is generally given a 'Simon's oh-my-gosh-I'm-professional' rating of 3/5 stars! The Pros is that... It is not a HORROR MOVIE! Surprising?! The trailer does speaks otherwise of course, but in fact it is some literature show... In a way. Oh boy! The Thai's does gave me a slap in my face this time round... Coz my impression of them was... ... ... You know what~ Ha! The Cons... Stupid 'female' ghost. Simply a spoof from matrix and SO FAKE!!! I mean.. it is really not scary at all! The outlook of the ghost makes me wanna laugh more then crying in fear! Serious! (Psst... if you man was hoping your girl with cling on to you through this show, try watching something else. :P) Camera skill wise wasn't that original and part of the many scene were shaky... Earthquake?! Anyway... many times the camera technique 'gave-away' the surprise attack and unknowingly prepares you for the "shock". NO NO.. Tsk.. tsk.. points deducted for that! Overall: GREAT PLOT! Suspended me a while to speculate and anticipate for something that I'm in for a ride. Good! Right right... 2nd issue PHYSICAL And YES! I want to build on my build! Skinny-tweeny me have decided to 'pumped' a lil more during my off day from duty and make some achievement while I'm active and kicking well. :P And APPARENTLY Charlton; whom is from COMMANDO, adding to his bag... an OFFICER.. I felt so low... Insignificant... AND SO! The fire within me lit up once again and was full of drive to build up what ever part of my body as far as possible. And yeap! I blew the dust off my routine order plan and put in to work once again! *** Alright.. Getting very late and I need to do some work on my boots. Need to report to camp tomorrow for night duty. And OH! Some news for you guys reading this.. Have to provide some incentive yea? :) - Topman and Topshop's having up to 70% off. 30% min - Bugis having new range of season clothing.. pretty nice though~ - Check out the new range of shoes available in 'Leftfoot'. Pretty stylish shoes @ afforable price now. Enjoy~ :) |

(10-16 points) You are Garfield: You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how to have fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know what you are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others may not see things as you do, but that doesn't mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember, your happy spirit may hurt you or others. (17-23 points) You are Snoopy: You are fun; you are very cool and popular. You always know what's in and you're never out of style, you are good at knowing how to satisfy everyone else. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few Birthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality. (44-50 points ) You are Dexter: You are smart and definitely a thinker... Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes. Try to do less over thinking every once in a while to spice things up a bit with spontaneity! ** How accurate this could be, it's up to you! Pure fun anyway~ Enjoy! |

Ok... Quite dumb. Was lying on my bed and felt a strong urge to blog. Why? Am I turning some bloggy-freak or something?! Oh well... Blame myself for starting this new year on the wrong footing (yea.. on the "left" in fact) Note to self: Haha.. Not funny! ... Ok whatever! CALLING ALL REVOLUTIONIST! If you have nothing better to do, help me think of some new year resolution. Ya... Like.. : Save the World? :Breath lesser; cause forest are getting more bald? :Tell more lame jokes to keep the Earth cooler? :Dive from the new keppel bay bridge which recently open? Cause I have YET to think of some.. so.. tell me more ya? Wiling to listen :) And too! Did some spring cleaning "mentality" and find myself with some road-blocks to clear... pretty tiring and requires alot of "renewing" of mind indeed! Not comforming to the World of course... (get the point?) Guess I'll eat brains for every meal then.. Nourishing~ Getting into shift work is definitely not simple. Why? Coz shift-work ain't kind! Have to work on odd days and break on days that clashes with OTHER PEOPLE! Shackles! Picture this... What to do on a bright TUESDAY MORNING!? Amusing myself??!! Besides the point, just figured some things out and decided that certain things are not worth me bugging on like a leech. If it's not of yours, it will not be yours :) Guess I need to call 1900-'make-new-friends' and see if they could fix this problem. Or rather 1900-'get-me-a-life' lifeline. Or maybe 'planmytime4mepls.com'. I'm sure it will work! But.. atleast I signed up for driving. That should keep me company for a while I guess... if my funding permits that. Oh well! Getting late and I need to go slp already. Night folks! Cheers to life~ R.A.N.D.O.M Thank God Singapore is tropical all year round :) (Shacks~ I'm into reverendfun.com too.)

1st Edition for the Year 2008 !!!
Oh man! It's 2008 already?! Un-knowingly I've already "fetched" 2008 while in the midst of editing photos video and stuff... HOWEVER! Somehow it feels quite good in a way... Maybe because the year is.. "new" ? Thats why? Although certain things still remains as the way it is, better then nothing yea? Right! Presenting... Xxon Youth Camp'07 : Transformation in Progress Ok.. Some nonsensical intro I thought of.. Haha. Pardon me for freezing you all down to minus 20 degree Celsius. First up! **** Ice breaker game! And it was really "ice-breaking" by telling the intensity of the people packing on the benches. Why wouldn't the ice melt then? :P What would a camp be without a blessing board? RIGHT?! And the day proceed on with games and more games. Workshop was great as the speaker like to humour us with comic strips from "Reverendfun.com" and his very unique Salad-finger-alike potrays of "Heart, Soul and mind". I burst out laughing the loudest. My bad! Deeply ashamed! The camp's so fun! That even Anand could not stop expressing himself! And of course I didn't manage to get all the pixs for the whole of the camp. BUT! It was really fun bonding with younger people and many others. Worshipping in a community and getting ministered by the Holy Spirit. "Transforming in progress" : Indeed there was alot of things that went through my mind.. Like.. Friendship.. future.. And I must say that God really provide me alot of avenue to be mould and make me understand alot of things :) Though hurting and painful, it surface the fact even better and I come to know of my weakness even more! *** And OH! Share with you some "natural" shots of mine. Somehow I think I love taking natural shots! Like... people? I'll probably be assasinated shortly for the unglam photos. Yeap! Now in the midst of doing a very hullarious video by our very own xxon youth. HAHA! And of course... Ending off with the next lead.. THE ADVANTURE OF SAMUEL QUEK! *** On the more serious note, These Sachos and Sachees have make every inch of this camp a possible success and fun. Cheerios~ Signing off... |
