Upon reaching the Singapore F1 Grand Pix track... HOT! Silly enough it was 3pm in the mid-noon day and I was sweating a river while awaiting orders regarding the F! support standby. Our task... simple. Support all crash rescue and evacuation action should there be any crash arises.

Not easy as it was to be done with these fiber-cased vehicle that travels easily 0 - 200Km/h in 5 seconds. Imagine the impact. Perilous.
Lest talking about trying to reach the location in like.. split seconds?

Nevertheless, I realised some very interesting thing that was being commented by the race officials and pit managers.

Singapore Marina circuit

1) Ground surface was filled with arrows, mostly pointing the opposite direction for like 70% of the track.
Con: Drivers could make sure they're on track?
pro: more then 5 drivers took the wrong turn. For real.

2) Ground marking were littered with leaves.
pro: Is there any?
con: MANY skid. But not serious cases.

3) Many tedious turns that lack space(width)
pro: real test for these track master
con: Quite some drivers that almost lose it's footing from the black marking from the barricade.

4) VERY VERY bright for a night race.
pro: Visibility clear. Wouldn't it be nice?
con: Night race? Day race?

5) Distracting scenery, high rise setting
pro: Quite some views for our friendly contenders
con: Distracting.. Get it?

Alright. What most importantly is that every race closes with minimum or even no injuries and everyone gets their fair share of entertainment. :)
But Asian being Asia, humidity will definitely be quite a major issue given that it affect the driving condition like greatly? Having G-force that is like humongous.
But I just thought that it was rather a good night for a start and hey! It's just a practice session anyway. But the greatest worries will be wet weather.

It'll be all woes from team managers to Pit managers to drivers to crew to.. us; standing by.
Anyway the night close with one crash, T. Clock, Denso Toyota with a skid into the grand-stand and the fastest lap by F. Alonso, Renault with the time of 1:45:654 minutes.

Ps: It's getting super annoying when you just stand @ one spot, having vehicles revved-up their engine, blasting through your ear. I could only catch like 0.01 second of each drivers and the only souvenir I could even get was the fumes from their engines. :)

Was ransacking through some of the YouTube video for my addiction on NigaHiga craze-frisk videos. And at the corner of my eye somehow the hyperlink with my nickname "foxin8585" caught my eye.
It's actually a link to my registered user homepage in youtube which contain some 12 videos on my working with RPCCC and Xxon. And specifically one there's this one video that I click on really bring back what was seems as "the paramount" of my video acheivement. It's nothing spectacular and nope.. it's not even in any broadway award ceremony. Just one humble video to my AY 06/07 freshman from RPCCC.

It really brings back memories for those days in Tanglin and Woodland campus where I pit everything I have got to build up a 2 man strong organization and movement in school to about a 100 fews present!!!
My effort.. Wantings.. Victor Teo.. Most importantly, Irene Neo and Amber Ng's. Still remember this verse in the oldies-short-panty days which I've got, saying : "what ever you bind on Earth will also be in Heaven..."
I've seen with my eyes how 2 could multiply to 100... Seen what it is like to work with small, medium and even large group. I've even seen myself at the peak of my spiritual growth. Thanks to the leading of Irene.. and also the many others like Ron Tan, Johnston and most gratefully, Pastor Raymond Tan. Whom time after time spur me to not give up on what my hands coud be use for.

In this video contains many flashbacks, testimonies and many thanks from me. I've pit the most memorable milestone in it and definitely not my achievement. :) So.. Enjoy! With a thanksgiving and praise to God!
This is my resolve and my stepping stone. And I'm utmost glad to share with you if you ask. :)

Much to my delight when I was down right bored and decided to check out what was hot on YouTube, somehow I'm not in the best state of mind I must say when I decided to check out Steven Lim's videos. (After hearing all the irony comment from my camp mates.)
To my dismay (as always), he did kill my day literally. And that was when I realised the side bar had this other Asian - looking guy by the name of "Niga Higa". So why not check it out right? Since I've already lost my sanity by watching Seven Lim's "Extraordinary" videos.



And this video sort of causes me to label Niga Higa as "Moron" as to Steven Lim, BUT! Till I check out more from Niga Higa. Amazing!

PRAISELAND TEACHER'S DAY RETREAT

It came and went with a swift whirl leaving me pondering how I could ever done such planning with only a few hours. Of course,
with many other faithful few of course :)





Started off with vic briefing a hefty of people on the "Game Of Life" that involve the folks (The Teachers of course!)
And I have seriously ZERO ideas on the decor alright!!
So I thought I grab some "leftovers" from E.D.E.N (ah ha! I revived the art work Jo.. Yang!), some colored papers from the youth room. On hand were items including plastic table cloth, candles and some paper cuttings.

SO! I put everything into use and came up with one welcome signage.

Rather cute I thought.

And as the hour is nearing, riding on the opportunity of the potong-man stalling the mass from entering the MPH.
I use up every single candles and line up the whole area with em' (With the help of pris Q, Vic T, Vic Loh, Sam.. etc)
I thought I threw in 4 pieces of black cloth.. Whats the significant? I DON'T KNOW :)

And I share one common sentence when God created Human-kind. "It's was VERY good".
Streams of adults, kids and fellow helpers enter the hall and then..
"WHA!" was their frist expression. It did sooth my heart and largely relive my anxiety. I thought I had put up some good ambience and decor. All thanks to God. Really.
But the design did share one common ground.. Gloomy dark.
One teacher even asked me this : "Simon, why is it you young peple always like it dark? Like my ah boy, no wonder you all wear so thick spect." Haha!
Nontheless.. It was VERY good to me. Amazing grace from God and the support of many out there in every way. Thanks!






And I realized my camera just could not comprehend the dark environment. ahrr... Shackles. Think it will soon reduce to a heap of metal and plastic soon.
