I'M BACK~
THANK YOU ALL WHOM SUPORTED ME AND IN WHICH EVER WAY!
THANK YOU!
Really thank you all for being there one way or another and yea! I'm back!! Stepping on Singapore ground once again and hopefully changed. But one thing for sure is that.. I'm very deeply touched!
As always.. "Life for us in Singapore is really very fortunate." I couldn't express more in words or even actions, you really need to experience it all.. And that takes faith and trust.
Would like to dedicate this entry to: (Not in ranking of importance)
1. God. In His Glorious Name and Mighty Power. I'm so in awe!
2. Youth Mission '07 Team. (You guys are the best of the best of the best)
3. All Xxon "Sacho" for YCCA (You guys were the best)
4. All members of YCCA who contributed and made it possible
5. Supporting member in prayer and various other ways
6. Practically anyone :)
This trip was really a slap in my face.. literally as I always hold high regard to Crusade's mission and look down on Chirch mission. I mean.. I thought that chuch mission is alwasy very much like going over there to play for a performance or something and than leave.. What's most important is to like take the flight for experience sake.. play some music for ppl to admire on.. look cool cause we're from other country or something like that. But God made me see 3 things.
1. His mission work is far more than I could understand and I seriously overrun and distort it myself.
2. Life work in the community
3. Life work in everyone of us on the team
It's a splendid blend of people. Though we are not from the best... But God made us come together as "perfect". I chose the word "perfect" to describe it as many were first time mission tripper, with much doubts and no desire for the trip. These "sand" were soon mixed.. refine.. change and form a wonderful piece of work by God's hands. It's simply awesom.. marvellous and out of this World.
The place we stayed were really a challenge and was totally out of our comfort zone. Thank God for the van that is big enough for 12 peoples and easily 20 laguages on it. And we have room from everyone :)
The place we stayed was somehow like a house built on slit.. very "kampong-ish" and I call it.. rural. Very much like what you see in your social studies textbook that explain "squatter settlement". Bugs infested nights.. warm wet noon with high humidity.. warm night.. cold water every night and poor walking track
The session with the community were breath-taking as each night's rally was filled with The Spirit to the brim. Ministering to people is a whole lot different and how God could make me.. such a small fray to touch the heart of people. Not me.. Seriously! Not my talent.. But God given opportunity.
Everything compliment wach other so well as it rains every night when we are ready to sleep. We were bless with unlimited water to bath atleast 4 times a day. Generous people who provide us 3 meals a day with lots of rice and meat when they just took 2 very simple and small meal a day.
The people were very eager to participate even they don't understand us half the time, happy and passionatly warm heart people who always make us feel home and great surroundings. And of course... Great teammates whom made all that possible.
Of course.. We had many many fun encounters that could really express it all out and yea! This trip is truly one memoriable one (everyone trip to me are sound memories) and do hope that the changes in me will remain the same! More to come!!! Stay tune!!
