RP SM RETREAT (Pt 1) Wohoo! Realise that it had been somewhat like nearing a week which I last updated my blog and that it seriously bad! Much apologies to those who had been faithfully supporting this blog. Hehe! Special shout out to Kangcore from Sonic Edge Band for visiting this blog and expressing such kind words from the invitation to the primere of the SonicEdge new album launch. Really amaze by how you get to know of this blog. ^^, Special shout out also to Joelle, ben, chinny and anand/ ryan.. You guys rock and thanks you so much for making time to read this blog. Will promise to update often yea?! Right... About the SM retreat that I went to that lasted through last Monday (3rd June) to Tues (4th June) and about some planning stuff that we had for the RP ministry @ Pine Grove Condo. But before we get down to serious business on the plannings and hectic brain storming... The gang decided to chill out @ Sentosa! Great! And I tried 2 new things in Sentosa itself! Before that, heres some pix that I took and was really amazing how much Sentosa had changed. The Folk that made this retreat possible starting from Irene (Most Left) to Jacob (Middle) and me!(Although I didn't make it all happen) on my first ever chairlift experience! The Second batch of folks.. Looks kinda far but that to show how high that thing went! Gosh! Yeap! Great experience as I went through the Luge ride + Chairlift and also the spectacular display of water + fire + laser effects from the "Songs of the Sea". But I must say that the storyline is very much similar to of those in the musical fountain that is free (that show cost $6) and the flow of it was kind of lame and bad... But nevertheless when the firework and laser start coming in... You will forget about the storyline and immerse yourself in the sea of midst.. effects and display of fire and firework. NICE! I love the part towards the end when there is this tall highly-pressurized charge water blast that was accompanied by the spiral laser effect! It seems like a dragon going round that single blast of water and it was totally awesome! The luge ride was great also as we charge down the hillside and making turns that is fast and furious. I could almost imagine myself being in some of the scene of "Intial D" and I literally drift ok?! I drifted and swirl through some of the sharpe turns and I guess the management will be so angry when they find strips of marking on the track... oh well.. do they care :P Great experience accompanied by fun and eccentric people plus great place... totally speechless and really out of words to describe everything... experience it for yourself. "Once is never enough" - Luge ride's tagline. The best part of which is not just yet... It was after dinner @ vivo.. We took the wrong side track to the busstop as I thought that we were to take the MRT.. and we took one detour. After that.. we reach the floor level and find ourself on the other direction which we should exit @ vivo but we exit at the Seah Imm foodcenter side. 2 detours. Than we hop on the bus to head back to the retreat place... I noticed the sign that says "Pine Gv Cond" on the bus as it indicate the next location. I stood up to find myself by myself and that the door of the bus is closing real soon.. but everyone is still seated! And to find ourself getting off 1 stop after. And that is a very long stop... 3 detours. Haha.. We reach the place dead and decided to watch the TV after a round of sharing.. And to my disappointment, the TV only have Channel 8 and Suria. And on channel 8 was this vampire show.. Which is totally of no link! No link throughout the whole episode as it flashes from the actor giving comment this sec and than fighting the next sec. Funny~ But it was still fun any way.. Yeap! Catch the next part some day ;) |
