Yeap! Though this is a late entry but... it's posted anyway. What have you done for mother's day lately? Flowers? Fine dining? Gifts? Or a good old hug? Haha. Well... As the day approaches, I thought I just push it off as "Aiya.. My presence is already a gift for her liao la" and I seriously didn't think that I could do so much... Check it out.

I was not thinking of anything fancy and that I am someone who is very lazy when ever this kind of occasion came up. And to be frank, I didn't prepare much to anticipate this coming day. So I thought I ask my bro and father to pit in some amount of money and than just slack off in some restruant like anyone one else and than settle it there and than. But I didn't something ever more after my sister-in-law refute that...
Wow! I did cooking! Amazing! I think i manage to pull off the spicy savoury chicken curry after on the verge of burning 2 pots (^^,). First pot was being saved on 13th May 2007 Singapore Time 1508 hours when I was trying to heat up the oil and fry the spice(To prepare the taste ahr).
Second incident on the same day 1826 hours, I almost burning another pot when I tried skimming milk into it on the hot pot without knowing that I need to add water first!! Haha. Indeed it is some experience gain as I was constantly trying to put off the risk of burning pots and pans and also the tendency of burning the whole kitchen up.
But the reward? Marvellous... And tasty! Yea! Praise the Lord! And tha taste of the chicken is so tender (Thanks to my sister-in-law's skillful cooking) and the curry was... SOOOOOOO CREAMY!!!!! Nice! I think I added too much milk or something as the curry seems more "light" than usual. But who cares... I cooked!! And that is like.. whipping up a dish and present it to a cooking master whom cooked for almost 2 decades man! And this "master" have been feeding me with her food ever since I was 3! Now 19 years later was this "mouth" who tries to whip up something in return. To me is nothing.. But I could see she loves it! If a mothery figure was not of a problem, she would probably take up the whole big pot and finish off every single drop of it. It's not the taste but the meaning of it behind man. That is the basic thing that touches you and me.. "love"! Just that simple act and that thing might not be the best of the "World", it will still be credited because of the basis behind it.
Well... This reminds me of that God doesn't seek our ability to do things for Him; thought He could just created one more person to carry out His job. Look at people from various walk of life.. Fom Linkin Park to Hillsongs, from Steven Gerrard to Tommy Emmanuel... James Brown to Eric Clapton. These are some big names that God have blessed them... If you could see what example I have raise here or look around you. No doubt that there are talents every where whom are Christian or of the "World". But what is different about these people is not where their talent lies.. But are they glorifying God at the end of the day. Looking at big time band like My Chemical Romance.. Ataris.. Blink 182.. no doubt they have that character that draws people, but doesn't Hillsongs.. Planet Shakers does it too? So all the more it shows that God did gave them that same talent to draw people right? But in whatever reason I doesn't know. But my point is that God favoured everyone... But the question is "How am I able to use this to please Him?" and that draws the line. At the end of the day would you be given the comment "Well done good and faithful servant!" or "Who are you? Away from Me!" is what matters the most.
Came across this saying "Ability Vs. Availability". Even I need to question myself.. Which side am I on. ^^,
