This is my 150th post! Sweet
Part2 (Day 1)
After a 2 plus hour flight, we reach bangkok Suvarnabhumi Int' airport @ 8.30am. What amazes me was that the airport was pretty cool and huge! Just like that news said, this airport is suppose to be the largest and best in the World as to compete with Singapore's Changi Airport.
There this one incident during the check-out of the custom while we need to get the visa and entry stamp on our passport, I was actually being stop by the desk officer as she bombard me with tons of questions. I was literally like.. "what the! I'm here on a holiday man!" and she was like wanting to sound out every single particular details out of me before letting me go. Sounds creepy... And she took a picture of me (And that freak me out for the whole trip) as if I was going to be on observations or something.
Straight after that were some series of stopping @ petrol kiosk for some breaks to rest our butt (by standing of course) and to catch some food in between. But I really thank God for that wonderful spacious van that has limitless headroom and leg room. The seats were great too! Chilling leather.. YA YA! It's like a mini theater too! Convoy One (my grouping) has the best things in it la! Apart from the seats problem.. we have a mini compo with nice sound system.. a LCD samsung TV and tons of nice movie on DVD. Cool! Whats cool what that the convoy I'm in was the only van that can play DVD.. and the movie are mostly in English! The other convoy didn't enjoy such benefits. Haha.
The 12 hour van ride was really no kidding and what we can only do was to really slp.. watch and slp again.... Kinda boring here.
the final stop was at mea sot, very much near the border between Myanmar and Thai. And we actually caught a glimpse of the "friendly bridge" that bridge Thai to Myanmar. And we had great food! Oh.. Did I mention one of my convoy mate was the "fiance minister" (Treasurer) and that was seriously some benefits. I think we order like main course for ourselves (around 90 baht each) and than a pizza large... 2 con don (Some beef with Mozelle cheese stuff between it.. supremely nice!!!!) and a few fruit mix. And it all cost overall for everyone (the whole team) barely 2000 baht.
But of course.. that was the "last dinner" b4 we hand over ourselves to cheap food and poor living environment. But overall the spirit is still high!!!!
Catch part 3!!!! :)
